ByusingtheWesternUnionsystemthecustomerreceivesthemoneytransferinUSdollarsonlyregardlessofthecurrencyinwhichthe transfer was made.

Receipt of the money transfer requires a form “For money receipt” filled in with Latin letters and provide the following information:

  • Full name of the recipient;
  • Address;
  • Full name of the sender;
  • Telephone number of the sender (if available)
  • Expected amount;
  • City and country the transfer is addressed to;
  • 10-digit reference number of the transfer;
  • Answer to a secret question (if any).

Any customer may receive a transfer not exceeding the below amounts without opening a current currency account:

  • Equivalent of 50,000 Hryvnias for non-residents;
  • USD 3,000 for non-residents.

When receiving transfers exceeding the aforementioned amounts customers will have to open current accounts; current accounts will be opened free-of-charge.
