“French spring – 2008” and “UkrSibbank” welcome Kyivans to the open-air event called “Catcher of the Moon”
On March 29, 7:30 p.m., “UkrSibbank” BNP Paribas Group invites Kyivans and visitors of the capital of Ukraine to enjoy the open air event called “Catcher of the Moon”, which is about to take place next to the People’s Friendship Arch. This day initiates the beginning of the “French Spring” festival in Kyiv.
The play will be introduced by a well-known “Flying acrobats” group to have been performing around the world for over thirty years already. This group took part in the ceremony of closing the Olympic Games in Barcelona and Sydney, in the presentation of the city of Toulouse as a candidate for European Capital awards in 2013, etc.
Mysterious unforgettable show “Catcher of the Moon” was created in 2006 and it was dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the German city of Dresden and adapted for Kyiv. This play dwells upon eternal connection between a Human and the Moon, satellite of the Earth to watch over us every single night and to shed light upon us... As true magicians “Flying acrobats” make gigantic figures fly over spectator’s heads, and the wind will spin these figures in a magic ethereal dance.
Around 20 thousand people are expected to come and see this spectacular show.
The spring’s already in Kyiv – not just the real one, but a French one too!
