Rules of the card use
Since the moment you are issued a card at a retail outlet of JSCIB “UkrSibbank”, you are deemed to be a payment card holder. In order to comply with the requirements of International Payment Systems, you must learn and adhere to the rules below. Abiding by these rules will ensure safe use of your payment card.

2. General security requirements
- After being rendered the card, the Holder must sign it with roller pen on the reverse side in the witness of the Bank’s authorized representative and sign the receipt or a special statement to confirm being given a card and PIN envelope;
- PIN-code will be provided in a special envelope alongside with the card. Card holder must write the PIN-code down in the safe place (not mentioning it to be a PIN-code) and destroy the envelope that contains the PIN-code;
- Card holder must make his/her best efforts to ensure safe and secret storage of his/her card, information indicated thereon (number, validity period and CVV2 / CVC2 codes*) as well as of PIN-code under any circumstances. It is not advisable to write the PIN-code down on any items to be stored together with the card; *CVC2 or CVV2 codes are signatures of the Client and are considered to be equal to PIN-code.
- PIN-code must be known to the Cardholder alone;
- Only the Cardholder is authorized to use the card. Use of the card in trade acquiring point or in cash point must be done in the Cardholder’s presence;
- The Cardholder must keep the card in a place that is not accessible by other persons and separately from electromagnetic radiation sources (cell phones, TVs, monitors, etc.) and actually magnets.
3. Validity period of a card
- Validity period is specified on the front side in ÌÌ/YY format (ÌÌ – two digits of ordinal number of the month and YY – two last digits of the year).
- Validity period of the cards to have been issued to the Client’s authorized persons, as a rule, coincides with that of the primary card.
4. Using a card
- Retailers that accept payment cards are marked with the following logos: Cirrus, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron.

- Details of cards use to pay for goods in retail networks.
- Details of cards use for paying for hotel reservation and accommodation.
7. Card account
- Funds will be placed (credited) to the card account according to the Card Account Number (specified in the Agreement) and may be done by depositing cash to the Bank’s cash desk or by transferring from accounts opened with other banks, by funds transfer from other individuals’ current or deposit accounts, as well as from accounts of other individuals upon their request pursuant to requirements of acting Ukrainian legislation.
- Transactions to be performed on the territory of Ukraine by holders of payment cards are carried out exclusively in the national currency of Ukraine. Exceptions cover the cases of cash assets being received by the clients from their current accounts opened in foreign currency, in the Bank’s cash desk and in the ATMs to be loaded with the currency.
- Amounts of transactions to have been protested by the Client will be returned to the Card Account after the issue is completely settled with the payment system.

9. Details of the cards use in high-risk countries.
- For the purpose of mitigating the risk of payment card fraudulent use, the Bank recommends the Card Holders to be very careful when using cards in the countries to have been considered high-risk ones by international payment systems
- List of high-risk countries: Burma, China, Guinea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea (the Democratic Republic of), Korea (Republic), Liberia, Malaysia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Nigeria, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Tunisia, Taiwan (the Province), Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Benin, Burkina-Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Niger, Senegal, Togo, Brasilia, Poland, Turkey, Sierra Leone, Libya. The above-mentioned list of high-risk countries may be amended. The information about the list of high-risk countries and valid restrictions of use to cover international payment cards may be received via telephone at: 8 800 5005 800 (24/7, free nationwide), (044) 5900675 (Kyiv only).
- If the Cardholder intends to use payment card for settlements in one of the above-mentioned countries, it is recommended that only large stores of well-known brands are chosen, while the best option to get cash will be to apply to retail outlets of the global banks, at the airports or at the hotels of the international networks.
10. Loss or illegal use of the card.
- Should the Card Holder have no control over the card* or should it be illegally used by unauthorized persons (stolen, etc.) the Card Holder must immediately contact the Bank (customer care service) to put the card onto a STOP-LIST at: (044) 590-06-75, (044) 201-22-75 (Kyiv only) or at 8 800 5005 800 (free nationwide), at this, the Holder must tell personal data, password and other information as requested by an operator. The Card Holder must confirm his/her request and wish (or refusal) to put the card onto a STOP-LIST in a written form within maximum of 5 (five) calendar days since the moment of oral message. ( *Loss of control over the card includes failure to return the card by an ATM and other cases when the Client is unable to control the card).
- Should the Cardholder find the card to have been previously declared as lost or illegally disposed of, he/she must return it to the Bank.
- Should the Cardholder face any troubles using the Card, he/she must address the Bank at 24/7 numbers: 8 800 5005 800 (24/7, free nationwide), (044) 201-22-75 (Kyiv only).
