    «Fire Show»

Rousing rhythms, innovative music and a spectacular pyrotechnics show were the final presents of the French Spring 2011 in Ukraine. Six drummers pulled almost 40,000 spectators to Spivoche Pole (Singing Field) for a memorable goodbye party.

The show was put on by the Drumming Troopers, an international street show company. For over 15 years the group has been touring around the globe, demonstrating their riveting art, a refreshing blend of rhythms, music and jaw-dropping pyrotechnic effects.

The show was dedicated to Chornobyl disaster. Rimon Grabriel, director of the show, says the idea behind this performance is as follows: “Chornobyl, or how to switch from memories of the absurd catastrophe to the anthem of life, which is made of shrieks, drums, sparks and explosives”.
