First Kyiv International Fireworks Festival

In the honour of its 18th anniversary UkrSibbank lights the stars and presents Kyiv born and capital’s guests an unforgettable gift – the First Kyiv International Fireworks Festival.

On Friday June 20, 2008 from 10 till 11.30 p.m. Kyiv’s night sky will be lighted up by dazzling fiery patterns, bright and colourful explosions of fireworks.

Each team performance will continue about 15 minutes. The program will be based on both pyrotechnics and musical accompaniment. Due to modern computer technologies fireworks will dance in the sky spilling simultaneously with music.

More than 150 thousand spectators will be able to admire with the beauty of dazzling pyro-musical show from the observation areas on Dnieper quay near River-boat station and under the Friendship of Nations Arch. (Map)

Such level festival will take place in Ukraine for the first time. Participants of the First Kyiv International Fireworks Festival are the real “fire magicians”, leading pyrotechnics teams of the world:

Lacroix- Ruggieri (France)
One of the oldest pyrotechnic European firm, founded 250 years ago. It’s the repeated winner of the most prestigious fireworks festivals in the world, including festivals in Montreal, Cannes, Shanghai, Tokyo, Berlin.

Orzella (Italy)
Orzella company is more than 120 years old. It was founded in 1884 and participated in numerous firework festivals in Malta, Tarragona, Stansford, San Sebastian and Rome.

Feuerwerkerei Rohr (Germany)
Feuerwerkerei Rohr company was founded in 1945 in Hannover. It participated and won a lot of fireworks festivals in Japan, France, Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden, Monaco and Netherlands.

Dance of Fire (Ukraine)
The pyrotechnics leader in Ukraine since 2001. The winner of national fireworks festivals in Yalta and Dnepropetrovsk. The participant of the International pyrotechnics festival in Cannes (France) and International pyrotechnics symposium in Montreal (Canada).
