Travel cheques are payment documents represented in foreign currency and used for international settlement of non-trade character while being a money obligation of the cheque giver to pay the amount indicated in the cheque to the cheque holder (receiver, owner); cheque giver attests the cheques in the designated area with his/her signature at the time of purchase.

Commission fees are paid by the customer in national currency in compliance with the approved tariffs of the Bank.

In order to receive the compensation you will have to fill in an application for receipt of money. When receiving compensation for the cheque you will have to present your passport.

The pledge amount when receiving cheques for collection comprises EUR 50.

An individual who is a resident must present the following documents in order to purchase travel cheques:

• Documents confirming the sources of foreign currency on the territory of Ukraine.

List of documents confirming the sources of currency funds:

• Taxdeclarationforcashcurrencyimport. The manager will make a mark on the original of the tax declaration about the sale of travel cheques;
• Foreign currency withdrawal slip from the personal current (deposit) currency account or card accunt with a Ukrainian bank;
• Bank statement on receipt of cash foreign currency for a cheque or as a transfer from abroad;
• Notice about receipt of salary, bonus, royalties, and document confirming receipt of inheritance in foreign currency.
