Few days ago, Yuriy Bilyak announced opening of his photo-show “The Ukrainians“at the Lviv Ethnography and Arts Museum. This event took place as a part of the French Spring in Ukraine 2007 festival with UkrSibbank being the primary sponsor.
Yuriy Bilyak, now a famous dancer, producer and a photographer was born in France in the Ukrainian immigrants’ family. Since his early childhood Yuriy Bilyak was charmed by the splendor of his ancestors’ culture and he kept on discovering something new about Ukraine. In 2004, he initiated a new project – ethnographic story about his Motherland. His pictures display the never-seen-before Ukraine. The exhibition is open for admission since March 30 till April 20.
